"Tokyo & Kyoto" is the post-processing photo album based on my trip to Tokyo and Kyoto in July 2018. As two essential cities in Japan, in my mind, Tokyo represents the "chaos" in Japanese culture, just like cyberpunk, and many other ultra-modern cultures use Tokyo as a reference. Kyoto, on the other hand, represents Japan's "quietness," many ancient buildings and rich historical heritage have laid the atmosphere of this ancient capital. Therefore, in this set of photos, I want to show the opposite of the stereotypes. For Tokyo, I choose the nightfall of city view I shot on the Skytree to express the feeling of quiet and silence. Then, for Kyoto, I select three of the modern buildings and edit them to be more stylish. Through the strong contrast of color matching, Kyoto's colors have also become more affluent.
